My name is John McGuin and I am applying for the role of Senior Backend Engineer - Engagement at Henry.
Coming up on nearly a decade of experience now in the field, much of my experience comes in the form of working in small scale startups on highly autonomous, product minded teams. I value learning new tech stacks and value the opportunity to work in different technical ecosystems and business domains. I have spent the last year or so attempting to form a startup of my own and have found that experience to be rewarding and more challenging than I could have anticipated! I am now excited to be taking my talents new and old to a new team. I think I can offer a strong product minded approach to software development and values alignment that will fit Henry well.
